Deviation Actions
If the Protestant Reformation had never happened, then I can truly tell you that we would be in darkness and very dependent on the Catholic Church to tell us what the Scriptures states and what it means and we would never have known the truth, because it would be forbidden to even have a copy of the Scriptures like in the Dark Ages. We would probably live in fear of loosing our souls and going to hell if we got on the wrong side of the priests.
There’s another thing and that is we would not have any religious freedom that we have today. Like in the Dark Ages, the Catholic Church got rid of anyone who stood up against the church and pointed out their sins.
It truly saddens me that the Protestants are signing documents and agreements with the Catholic Church to end the Reformation. I bet most people never noticed that the Catholic Church never changed what they practiced and do, since the Dark Ages. They have been the same church since it ruled the world.
The church never stopped trying to destroy the Protestants, nowhere in history states that the Catholic Church stopped trying wipe out the Protestants. Instead of killing us, the church uses education, politics, and other sources to convert us to their religion.
Think on this, and try to imagine how the Dark Ages were really like. Do we really want the return of that and it ruling our lives and telling us what to do and what to believe. There is a saying that we should remember: History always repeats itself.
